In 1998, Chips and Technologies was purchased by Intel for their leading flat panel controller technology. In January 2000, Asiliant licensed the rights from Intel Corporation to continue to manufacturer & sell the Chips and Technologies family of components.

Asiliant Technologies offers the Chips and Technologies family of Flat-Panel/CRT Graphics controllers for the embedded marketplace. They are best supported in an Pentium* processor/Windows* environment on a variety of buses: ISA, VL, PCI, and AGP. The controllers support a wide range of displays including CRT's, TV's, TFT panels, DSTN panels.
